User Agreement
This agreement applies to your use of HALF/Q, including the HALF/STORY experience and HALF/STORY Lens, provided by RTECHO LAB PTY LTD (ABN 14 666 363 382), Australia. By using HALF/Q you accept this agreement. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What HALF/Q is
HALF/Q is an early-stage interactive product for entertainment and reflection. Scenarios are fictional composites. They are not claims about real people or events, and you should not infer facts about real people from them.
Not advice
Nothing in HALF/Q is legal, medical, psychological, financial, employment, safety or other professional advice. Do not rely on HALF/Q for emergencies or high-stakes decisions.
Accounts
Accounts use a passwordless email link and are tied to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. Guests can complete one story before saving their Lens with an email; we may set other reasonable limits.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use HALF/Q unlawfully, to harass anyone, or to interfere maliciously with the service;
- scrape, automatically extract or bulk-copy content, or reverse engineer, circumvent or probe the service;
- attempt to extract HALF/STORY Lens algorithms, scoring, adaptive metadata, candidate rankings, restricted data or server systems;
- impersonate others or access anyone else's account or data.
Sharing
You are responsible for what you share. Your own answer is only included in a share if you choose to include it.
Intellectual property
HALF/Q, the HALF/Q mark, HALF/STORY Lens, and the product's content, design and software are owned by or licensed to RTECHO LAB PTY LTD, as applicable. You may use HALF/Q for personal, non-commercial purposes under this agreement.
Changes, reset and deletion
Features may change or be discontinued. You can reset your history or delete your account from the account menu. We may suspend or end access for misuse.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, HALF/Q is provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability. Nothing in this agreement excludes, restricts or modifies rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws in force in Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdiction rules that apply to you.
